| The first kidney transplant, which was over a year and half ago, has headed in the wrong direction. As a result, I find myself needing another kidney transplant, ASAP, to avoid dialysis. |

Donor Requirements: 21 years or older Male or Female Blood type - “O” (positive or negative) Good Overall Health |

Donating Procedure: 1. A transplant coordinator will conduct a brief phone medical evaluation. 2. A blood test will be scheduled to check blood-match and compatibility. 3. If a good blood-match is established, a few other non-evasive tests will be scheduled depending on donor’s age, gender, and medical history. During each step you will be asked if you wish to proceed further in the testing, and at any point you may decline. All medical expenses are covered. There are no out-of-pocket medical expenses to potential donors for testing, and donating. A recovery time of 2-3 weeks is typical to resume work and normal activities after donating a kidney. |
