Below is the tentative school calendar as per the Department of Education
2010
- September 6, Monday: Labor Day - School is Closed.
- September 7, Tuesday: All classroom teachers report. (Updated as a result of the June 23rd DOE/UFT agreement)
- September 8, Wednesday: All students report, first day of school. (Updated as a result of the June 23rd DOE/UFT agreement)
- September 9 and 10, Thursday and Friday: Rosh Hashanah - School is Closed.
- October 11, Monday: Columbus Day - School is Closed.
- November 2, Tuesday: Election Day - Chancellor Conference Day - No students in attendance.
- November 11, Thursday: Veteran's Day - School is Closed.
- November 15, Monday: School Half Day; Parent-Teacher Conference Day - 12:30PM - 2:30PM and November 16, Tuesday - Parent-Teacher Conference Evening - 6:00PM - 8:30PM
- November 25 and 26, Thursday and Friday: Thanksgiving - School is Closed.
- December 24 to January 2: Winter Recess - School is Closed. Students return to school on Monday, January 3, 2010.
2011
- January 3, Monday: Students return to school from Winter Recess.
- January 17, Monday: Dr. Martin Luther King Day - School is Closed.
- February 21 to 25, Monday through Friday: Midwinter Recess - School is Closed.
- February 16, Wednesday: School Half Day; Parent-Teacher Conferences Day and Evening: 12:30PM - 3:00PM & 6:00PM - 8:30PM
- April 18 to April 26 - Spring Recess - School is Closed. Students return to school on Wednesday, April 27, 2011.
- May 30, Monday: Memorial Day - School is Closed.
- June 9, Thursday: Anniversary Day - A Staff Development Day - No students in attendance.
- June 28, Tuesday: Last day of school for staff and students - Half Day.
- Have a good, safe summer vacation.
