Mr. G's Homeroom Rules
AM Homeroom Rules:
- Get to homeroom on time - do not be marked late or absent.
- Walk through the halls. No running, pushing, shouting, or ball-playing and hats off.
- Enter the room & place all items you do not need in the closet. Place coats, jackets, hats,
& sporting equipment in the closet. The closet will be locked until lunch time & PM homeroom.
Make sure you have all the materials you need to get you through the school day - INCLUDING
your money, Metro card, cell phone (off in your pocket, or book bag), pens, paper, and any books.
- Any morning school announcements or papers will be given out at this time.
- Sit quietly & wait for the announcements. ALL STUDENTS will stand &
either remain quiet or recite the Pledge of Allegiance. After the homeroom announcements
are completed, students can read, finish up homework, or study for any tests.
NO student is to leave their seat or the room during AM homeroom. Permission will be granted
to leave the room, if needed.
- Failure to follow these rules will result in lunch detention, after school detention or a call home.
PM Homeroom Rules:
- Report back to PM homeroom promptly, Do not be late. As you enter
the room, you may get your belongings from the closet.
- Start putting chairs up on the desks and stand by your assigned seat - Do NOT walk
around the room. Wait for any afternoon school announcements or hand-outs. Monitors will
close all windows, erase the boards, and hand out any papers.
- The class will line-up in two lines - boys on the closet side, and girls in the back. We
exit only after all the chairs are up, windows locked, blackboard cleaned & the lights are
shut off.
- All students must exit out the assigned exit for our homeroom. Any students going to an
exended school program must also leave at this time & re-enter the building through the main
entrance.
- Failure to follow these rules will result in lunch detention, after school detention or a call home.
